My first royal

Yep, after 45k hands on Ipoker I made my first royal on Ipoker today. Was only a flip, got it in pre with AQ vs KJ for 30bbs with an aggro SS'r but still was a nice little somethin somethin.

Not much occurring really. Just a weekend of getting it in in some fairly standard spots. Squeezed with KK pre flopped top set vs top and bottom on K 3 2 vs a fish for 100bbs Got it in vs a Tagfish with QQ vs J on 8 5 3 and a cpl of other similar spots for 50-80bbs a time. The only difference being this time I didn't lose every time.

From a strategy point of view, I have plugged a few leaks. Mainly set mining OOP, this was killing my winrate esp when the flop was favourable for my hand but vs their range I was still pretty crushed. Like I have 44 on 3 5 7. The big problem I used to have was XR this board vs the wrong type of villain. At 10NL it just isn't worth making these moves in 3b pots as they just don't know what I'm repping.

So yea, I call less 3b OOP with PPs and SCs which is good.

I am also pretty proud of getting more of the middle of my range to showdown. Over the last 5k hand I have really seen an improvement in my W$SD which is encouraging. It has cut my red line a little, but the extra street of value is waaaaaaaaaaay worth it.

So with the new grind pad set up and all things looking pretty sweet now I am fairly confident it is going to be a good cpl of weeks. I should bink Gold VIP status by Tuesday for that sweet 50% multiplier at the end of the month.
