So took another shot at 10NL last night, this time round was much better, didn't get stuck $34 at the start of this session, merely a $12 barrier to overcome. Pulled out a winning session of a whole $2.50 over 630 hands.
Interestingly enough over the last 5.4k hands by SD winnings have increased at 4NL and are almost running to EV. Whereas not so long ago I was running over 20 stacks below EV which kinda sucks. So after 1k hands at 10NL I'm playing at 23/17/6.2 which might seem uber bad but I have been a card rack so I am not too worried at this stage, I feel as though this will even out over a larger sample.
Interesting concept at 10NL I have started opening smaller in LP with my group 5 hands so I'm kinda playing small ball postflop. Just trying to reduce variance as much as possible when shot taking. On the + side, played a fair bit with some 4NL regs that are at 10NL and they didn't abuse this when they had position so I dare say that they aren't picking up on it at the moment.
Not really had any super interesting hands come up recently, however read some interesting PLO hands on Phil Galfond's blog. http://www.philgalfond.com/acoupleofhands/ That was ample interesting.
Tomorrow is the monthly contender freeroll, so I made enough player points to get entry into a $2.5k freeroll. My poker arch nemesis/rival/kinda friend/wizard managed to get his way into a $20k freeroll, but he is a no lifer so what can I do ;P anyways, here's hoping we both run good there.
Until then run good!
